This guide covers registering and deregistering handsets to the Panasonic KX-TGP500 and KX-TGP600 Wireless VoIP models.
Registering a KX-TGP500 Handset:
- Press MENU (the center joystick).
- Select Initial Settings.
- Select Registration.
- Select Register Mobile Handset.
Alternatively, instead of steps 1 to 4 press the MENU key (joystick) then [#][1][3][0]. - On the DECT base press and hold the ALL () button for 5 seconds. (if all registered handsets start ringing, press the same button to stop. Then repeat from step 1)
- Within 90 seconds of press ALL button on the base, press OK on the handset and wait until a long beep sound. (If the handset asks for a PIN the default is 0000).
Deregistering a KX-TGP500 Handset:
- Press MENU ((the center joystick).
- Press/dial [#][1][3][1].
- Enter [3][3][5] and press OK.
- Select the desired device and press OK.
- Select Yes and confirm with OK.
Registering a KX-TGP600 Handset:
- Press and hold the handset Locator button on the side of the KX-TGP600 base unit until the status indicator light flashes red (about 3 seconds), then release.
- Press and hold the right softkey on the KX-TGA60 handset unit until the screen updates to say Please Wait. After a few seconds, the screen should update again to say Registered, then the home screen appears. The handset number will appear in the upper-left corner of the screen.
OR
- Press and hold the handset locator button on the side of the KX-TGP600 base unit until the status indicator light flashes red (about 3 seconds), then release.
- Press MENU.
- Navigate to the wrench symbol and press OK.
- Select System Option.
- Select Register H/S
- Select a base unit. After a few seconds, the phone should display Registered.
Deregistering a KX-TGP600 Handset:
- In standby mode, press MENU
- Select System Settings and press OK
- Select Cancel Register and press OK
- Select the handset and press OK.
