Use this guide to add a Yealink W76P wireless phone and provision it for you with NocTel

Add a New Generic SIP Extension

  1. From the control panel, click on Extensions.


  2. Then click on the Add a New Extension link.


  3. The following screen will present a selection of extension types. Locate the Generic SIP Device and click Add Device.
  4. On the device's options page, click the pencil icon to edit the extension Number and Name. Click Save to save the changes.
  5. Click the arrow (>) in the Preferences for SIP Device section. Enter the device's MAC address from the base unit in the MAC field and press associate. 
  1. Connect the Yealink base to power and an active network connection.
  2. On the handset, press: Ok (center arrow pad) > Status > Base. Scroll down and note the IPv4 address.
  3. In a browser, navigate to the IP address.
  4. Login with the default username (admin) and default password (admin)
  5. Set a new admin password by clicking on the link at the top of the page in the Warning popup. We recommend 8675309 to correspond with other NocTel device passwords.
  6. Login again.
  7. Navigate to Account > Register
  8. Set the Line Active to enabled.
  9. On the Register page for the the Yealink, enter the following information in the corresponding fields from the extension's option page. The info is located at the bottom of the extension's option page under "How to Configure Your Generic SIP Device":
    1. Display Name: Yealink extension number
    2. Register Name:  SIP User ID
    3. Username: SIP User ID
    4. Password: SIP Password
    5. Server Host: SIP Host
  10. Click Confirm.
