Most buildings have one door that matters more than the rest: the back entrance, the server room, the cage where the expensive things live. A sensor on it reports to Desk, and Desk knows your hours: inside them, nothing; outside them, the people you chose find out the moment it opens, and if the first doesn’t respond, the next one does. Nobody reviews camera footage in the morning to learn what happened at night.
