Snow day, early close, the one Monday a year nobody agrees on. The closed version of your phones gets built once: where calls go, what the greeting says. Switching to it is dialing a short code from any phone, including a cell in a kitchen at 6 a.m. Dial it again when you reopen. The person who decides you’re closed is the same person who can close you.

How it gets built
These are the real steps in the current control panel. We’ll happily do them with you.

Create the toggle.In the control panel: Account Preferences → Adjustable Toggles → Add a Toggle. Name it something plain, like “Holiday hours.”

Give it a number.Assign the toggle to an extension. Dialing that extension flips it. That’s the whole trick.

Route on its state.In your main line’s call flow, the toggle’s position decides: open means normal ring, closed means the holiday greeting and wherever calls should go.

Flip it from anywhere.Any account phone can dial the code. Dial again to reopen.
